Reference Premiere II home theater system

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. (May 16, 2022) — Klipsch®, a leading premium global audio company, is pleased to announce the debut of its new Reference™ Premiere series speakers. The all-new line is an enhanced version of the company’s award-winning Reference Premiere series of speakers, which is also its most award-winning series of all time. Now in its third generation, the new Reference Premiere speakers feature the most impactful upgrades in the series’ history, including the latest technological audio advancements, premium materials, and dramatic cosmetic details.

The new series uses new, larger proprietary Tractrix® horn technology to improve high-frequency response and extension while enhancing imaging and dynamics. Klipsch signature copper Cerametallic™ woofers with aluminum Faraday rings and Tractrix ports provide powerful low frequencies while minimizing distortion and maximizing efficiency. An exclusive Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) titanium tweeter maximizes dynamics, delivering detailed performances.

New premium materials and dramatic design features used in the Klipsch Reference Premiere series are the epitome of modern elegance. The speakers are available in two furniture-grade wood finishes – ebony and walnut. Sleek cabinet design details exude refinement with enhanced cabinet bracing, aluminum binding posts, cast aluminum feet, and discrete Dolby Atmos connections that allow for easy and refined elevation speaker integration. Signature Klipsch copper trim rings accentuate the tweeter and woofer, which can also be concealed by sturdy yet flexible magnetic grilles.

The 11 new Klipsch Reference Premiere models consists of:

  • Four floorstanding towers (RP-8060FA II Dolby Atmos® enabled, RP-8000F II, RP-6000F II and RP-5000F II)
  • Two bookshelf speakers (RP-600M II and RP-500M II)
  • Three center channel speakers (RP-504C II, RP-500C II and RP-404C II)
  • Two surround speakers (RP-502S II and the innovative, dual-purpose RP-500SA II that functions as a Dolby Atmos elevation speaker or a rear/side wall-mountable surround).

Price points for the new Klipsch Reference Premiere series span U.S. MSRP price points ranging from $1198-$2,998 for a pair of floorstanding speakers, $599-$749 for a pair of bookshelf models, $499-799 for a center channel, $699 for a pair of surrounds, and $899 for a pair of dual-purpose RP-500SA II speakers. Klipsch speakers are known to reproduce the power, detail, and emotion of the live music experience. Onkyo and Integra 2021 audio and video receivers (AVRs) include the precise crossover values for specific Klipsch Reference and Reference Premiere speakers, eliminating any guesswork or sometimes arbitrary settings assigned by many automatic room calibration solutions. It's easy to set up in the AVR menu and the result is peak performance out of already amazing-sounding speakers.
